Olive was found with her 5 siblings on the 25th March 2024 in a box by the 3 ponds near the shelter. They were dumped without their mum and left to fend for themselves.

Little Olive is a sweet little soul that loves nothing more than a cuddle with humans after playing with her pen mates and her toys. She is such a well natured pup and is absolutely ready for a home of her very own.

We loved watching her confidence grow over the days we were there and she adapted to so many situations well. She wore her harness and lead like a total pro, as if she had been wearing them her whole life and we can just see her trotting around local parks and nature reserves with a new family.

Olive loved to follow food and was very easy to train. A home that will continue this and use her love of food and toys to aid her training is very important. Couple that with her love for snuffling in boxes and other forms of enrichment, there will always be ways to work her brain that she enjoys which will be so helpful in building a relationship with her.

Despite being part of quite a big litter, OIive gets on well with everyone and when she does get involved, she does so in a very gentle way. Never pushing her way through and being patient around some of her more confident, bouncy siblings.

We were delighted to see Olive get on not only with other dogs, but cats as well and we feel she could certainly live in a home with or without both. Her calm nature would see her suited to a home with or without children but care would of course need to be taken, as with any puppy, to ensure younger children do not pester her.

We are so excited that applications for Olive are now open and cannot wait to see her in a home of her own.
