A LITTLE ABOUT ROLO

Rolo was found on his own in a local town by Elisa’s husband. He was scooped up, brought to the shelter and moved into a pen with 6 other puppies after he passed his quarantine period. He then formed part of the Magnificent 7 and that’s where he is today.

Rolo is a fan favourite and will seek you (and your lap) out for a cuddle at the first opportunity. He is a confident boy but in no way overbearing and despite his larger size, gets on incredibly well with his smaller pen mates.

He is incredibly motivated and this will be crucial in supporting his training in a home. He loves food, toys, people and exploring and passed his assessment with flying colours. When moved into a new environment, he adapted straight away, exploring freely, even accepting a lead and harness without issue, following the volunteers and wanting to engage.

Rolo loved the enrichment boxes we gave him and he explored them confidently but without being overbearing to his smaller pen mates.

This happy, cuddly boy will thrive in a home that can give him lots of physical and mental stimulation which is important for all puppies. We think a home with slightly older children would be better simply due to his slightly larger size. He can live in most environments and with/without other dogs and cats.

We cannot wait for Rolo to find his well deserved forever home.
