COULD YOU BE GINNY’S FOREVER?

One of the hardest parts in rescue is when a dog comes back into our care after being in a home for many years.

Ginny and her brother Ron were adopted back in October 2019. They were rescued as tiny pups, with their mum and five other siblings.

Sadly four years later, through no fault of their own and merely due to a change in the owners situation, they came back into our care. Ron has since been adopted but our gorgeous Ginny is still waiting for her perfect match.

Ginny is incredibly loving. She loves to curl up in bed or on someone’s lap for a cuddle and really enjoys relaxing in the home. Equally, she loves a long walk and adventure, whether it’s hills, countryside or the beach - she’s there! Despite her small stature, she has lovely long legs and loves to stretch them. We also think she would be amazing at agility since she's so spritely and loves to run and climb on things.

Ginny is fully house-trained, crate-trained and has no issues being left alone in the home - she happily sleeps in her crate when left. She can live with or without other dogs, but if there are already dogs in the household, she would prefer calm natures similar to hers. Ginny has not lived with cats before, and so we feel it would be best for her to move to a cat-free home.

She walks well on the lead and can travel happily in a car too. She enjoys enrichment activities and playing with toys, but is not overly playful either.

She can be a shy girl and will need slow introductions to new people and a new home, but it doesn’t take her long before she’s your new best friend. They say all the best things take time, and working your way into Ginny’s heart is certainly worth it.

Ginny is currently in Cheshire and available to meet before an adoption is confirmed. We would love for Ginny to find her forever home, so if you feel that it’s you - get in touch!
