Theo was found with his 5 siblings on the 25th March 2024 in a box by the 3 ponds near the shelter. They were dumped without their mum and left to fend for themselves.

Theo is the cutest little button you could ever wish to meet! He is such a gentle, sweet boy who you just want to scoop up and wrap in cotton wool.

He is the smallest of his litter and easily overwhelmed by his busy pen but does enjoy the company of the smaller pups and engages in gentle play with them once he has settled.

He enjoys the company of humans and once he feels comfortable will gently stroll up on to your lap and fall asleep peacefully. He isn’t the first to approach but don’t take that as him being scared of people, he just doesn’t like to be in the mix of a busy environment. 

He loved his enrichment boxes and really got stuck in, climbing into the box of goodies and exploring different textures and surfaces to find all the treats.

We think a home with older children or no children would be better for Theo simply because he is easily overwhelmed and will need a home where the children can follow instruction to allow Theo to approach and interact in his own time. He can live with or without other dogs but again, a dog who won’t overwhelm him is essential. 

Our little Theo is so ready to go home and we cannot wait to find him a family who will continue to grow his confidence and give him all the love and care he so craves.
